Spring Tour 2013
New Lenox, IL / 04.27.2013 @ The Pizza Palace
- If you haven’t heard of New Lenox, IL it’s because you hate fun.
- MY FAVOURITE FLYER OF TOUR BY KYLE HALL.
- Flapjack cut Oscar’s hair in the yard and Mitchell accidently left his hair cutting scissors with them.
- Celebrity Pets played and they were beyond good. I think they’re, like, emo skramz or sad or something?
- For my set, Mitchell jumped on drums and I played electric guitar. We’d never practiced this before and it was A TOTAL MESS. So so bad, but so so fun! By far the funnest set I played on tour, and by far my worst performance.
- Dylan (pictured jamming “Cute without the ‘e’” with Mitchell) and Jamie came to the show! Dylan played! I didn’t even realize it was his first show till afterword and he was SO GOOD! He plays as Jesus Boy.
- Kyle Hall got a nose bleed at El Burrito Loco and he saw beautiful things in the ceiling that Mitchell took down as notes. Mitchell CLAIMED he’d use them as songs titles for his new album.
- Oscar gave Mitchell a New Lenox baseball style shirt that he wore a lot the rest of the tour.
